Writing is something that should take place all year long. Ideally, every day. Sometimes it gets a little stale working in a vacuum.Â
Workshops, conferences, and online challenges are a good way to add a little bit of the unexpected into one’s writing life. Today I’ll mention Coyote Con since today is the first day of it. All month long, it’s an online conference focusing on speculative fiction. Naturally the sponsor is Drollerie Press since speculative fiction is their specialty.Â
Each weekend the chat rooms and special sessions will be filled with writers and readers who want to know more and make connections. Word wars will be held to encourage writers to get their writing done. I suppose this online conference is like interval training only instead of bursts of exercise, participants get bursts of writing related information.Â
It should be a fun month. If you’re interested, it’s not too late to sign-up. Or maybe you want to stop by their site and take a look around. http://coyotecon.com/
